DICK FOWLER, P.I.: EPISODE 4

As with the third episode of Rickie Fowler's commercial campaign for Farmers Insurance, the look on Luis Chávez's face at the end is wonderfully acted. The cornball love song puts it over the top.

Sadly, Farmers Insurance calls "Love Trap" the finale of the Dick Fowler, P.I. series. So precious few golf commercials these days are written with tongue planted firmly in-cheek. Here's hoping that, after a few months, they pick up the series again — and run the spots during prime time and in non-golf sports coverage.
