Interlachen Country Club is where Bobby Jones won the 1930 U.S. Open on his way to a still-legendary Grand Slam. In fact, the club has hosted a long and impressive string of major championships and international events:

Willie Watson did the original design here in 1909, but Donald Ross redesigned the course in 1919. That design remains much the same today, although the late architect Geoffrey Cornish did some updates and restoration to the course in 1986. In fact, the signature 9th hole remains much the same as it was in 1930, when Jones hit his famous "lily pad" shot in the U.S. Open. ICC has consistently rated among the top 100 golf courses in the United States.
