The 188 acre golf course is a championship layout of beautifully maintained fairways, short rough, subtle greens and bunkers that challenge the finest players. The acres of open space and scenic views of the Marin shoreline, San Pablo Bay and coastal hills offer a fabulous golfing experience. 4 1/2 stars all around. It's a very pretty old traditional style course with rolling hills and slight doglegs. Most of the holes are beautifully framed by tall old eucalyptus trees. In line with typical old traditional California courses, many of the par 3's are long and tough, while you get a respite on some of the shorter par 4s. If you hit it straight here, you'll be rewarded with a low scoring day. Greens are tough, but not unfair. With all the Bay Area private course gems, this course is certainly an under the radar sleeper.
