An awesome new course in central Wisconsin on Castle Rock Lake. Awarded one of the Best New Public Courses Over $75 by Golf Digest in Jan of 2007. Seven holes are listed as replicas of such tracks as Augusta (13 & 11), Sawgrass (17) and Bay Hill (18). Dirty little secret is that both Pinehurst and Pebble are represented as well. Legal issues prevent Northern Bay from mentioning them. So really nine of the 18 holes are replicas. This is a course that WOWS you. Very unique. A must play in Wisconsin!!

Nice scenery, good views. Pace of play and value were both good as part of an outing. Every part of the the staff was great, friendly and helpful from the time my bag left the truck until it went back in. Bar/waitstaff top notch. Played on a weekday, didn't seem crowded.
Maintenance, another issue. Understood this was a really harsh winter, and it took it's toll on the day's condition. Aerated fairways. Greens were running slow in order to keep them in good condition for the rest of the season. not a reflection on the maintenance staff.

Replica holes were all very tough, but were a lot of fun to play.
