Windsong Farm's philosophy and history includes hosting important events:

• 2008 MGA State Amateur Championship
• 2010 Big Ten men's golf championship (hosted by the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities)
• 2011 USGA Women's Mid-Amateur Championship sectional qualifying
