British Columbia-based architect Russ Olson designed all 27 holes at this course, which is located about a 30 minute-drive west of Calgary. Practice facilities include a 325-yard range with grass tees, five target greens, bunkers, two practice putting greens, and a practice bunker. Given its location, River Spirit also provides excellent views of the Canadian Rockies. A large clubhouse with tournament and meeting facilities is also available.

The standard walking rates are C$73 Mondays through Thursdays, then C$88 Fridays, weekends, and holidays. Junior and twilight discounts are available, as are memberships.

Price is way out of wack for customer service, pace of play and maintenance. Pace of Play should have zero stars as it is one of the slowest courses in Calgary.

Way over priced for the quality of course. In 10 years it will be worth it - better value in Calgary for under $70. Cart girls inattentive but they had big boobs...not much better.

A little over priced for the condition. Cart paths need a little more maintenance. Overall a nice course - just a little overpriced.
