Formerly known as Freestone Golf course, the front nine of Skytop Mountain is routed along the flatter valley floor with five of the holes bordering the Bald Eagle Creek. This nine is currently over 3300 yards from the back tees and 2250 from the front tees. We are adding more tees that will lengthen this nine to approximately 3600 yards. All of the holes have at least five tees that will accommodate any level of player. Most players find this nine very walkable.
The Back nine is routed up the mountainside and provides magnificent views of the valley and the Allegheny Front. The first five holes of this nine swithback gently up the hillside while slowly gaining elevation. The finishing four holes sweep out and down the mountainside revealing incredible views and leading one back to the clubhouse. This nine features the 16th hole, which is 200 yard, par 3 that plays directly down the mountainside with 100’ of elevation drop. The view is spectacular!
