This 240-acre course was designed by the very notable architect Harry S. Colt and opened in 1920. Visitors with a valid golf handicap certificate are welcome, but advance booking is highly recommended. The standard walking rates are £60/round or £75/day on weekdays, then where tee-times are available, £65/round on weekends. Societies are also welcome with prior arrangement.
