This coastal heathland course opened in 1893 and is located near Cleadon water tower, a well-known (and highly visible!) local landmark. The medium-length course plays from 5,717 to 6,263 yards and is described by locals as easy-to-walk.

Visitors are welcome; the summer walking fees are £24/round or £36/day weekdays, then £30/round or £44/day on weekends. Playing as the guest of a member runs from £12 to £15, while the winter rates are less than £20.

Found course to be in good condition although the greens were found to be slow.
Sand has been replaced in all of the bunkers and far better than original sand.
