This 18-hole course opened in 1974 with a design by Gene Hamm. A 1998 re-design by British architect Ian Scott Taylor added more mounding, which was intended to mimic a Scottish-links feel, while the greens were reseeded with TifEagle Bermuda. Four sets of tees stretch the course from 5,043 to 7,071 yards. The course lies adjacent to the Cape Fear River and has been designed with the natural coastal terrain in mind.

Peak 18-hole rates (including a cart) are $36 Mondays through Thursdays, $40 Fridays and weekends.
