Two authentic links courses are here, the Old Course being the tougher of the two — and designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris, no less. The standard rates on the Old Course, a gorgeous seaside links, are £65/round or £85/day.

The New Course was designed by three-time Open champion Sir Henry Cotton (1907-1987) and plays over narrower fairways with smaller greens - a challenge of its own. The rates on the New are £25/round or £40/day on weekdays, then £40/round on weekends.

Loved this course even although we were there in February. The mild winter meant tha all greens were in use. Mats were in use from fairways but that did'nt detract from the experience, lovely links course.
