For more than 80 years, Durban Country Club has taken pride in providing its members with a range of exceptional facilities and amenities. It is situated in the city of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, only 1 kilometre north of Durban’s ‘golden mile’ beachfront. Durban Country Club (DCC) offers not one but two magnificent clubhouses and highly rated courses, the other course referred to as the DCC Beachwood course is located beside the beachfront in Durban North (just five kilometres from DCC).

Durban Country Club has undergone extensive refurbishments over the last two years which have led to the complete revitalisation of the Clubhouse whilst retaining the impressive, stately, white gabled façade that the Club is so famous for. Our new Clubhouse showcases beautiful modern, elegant furnishings and accessories, three restaurants, 5 function venues, the stylish Waterman Bar upstairs which undoubtedly has the best view in Durban overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.

The golf course, voted one of the best in South Africa (rated 6th by Golf Digest 2008), overlooking the Blue Lagoon estuary and the Indian Ocean has hosted 16 SA Opens in total, more than any other club in South Africa and has over the years, played host to celebrities, royalty and golfing greats. Photos, antiques and memorabilia in the Clubhouse bear testimony to its fine traditions.
