Hickory Point is a Roger Packard design, owned and operated by the City of Decatur, and located in Forsyth, a suburb. It has hosted an LPGA Futures Tour event and the IHSA Class AA Girls' state golf tournament. The course also hosts a First Tee facility, a lighted practice range, and a six-hole practice course.

The standard adult walking rates are $25 on weekdays, $28 on weekends and holidays (carts are $16). Junior, senior, 9-hole, and twilight rates are available.
