This course opened in 1924 as Mote Mount Golf Club, with the original design by John Frederick Abercromby. Harry S. Colt oversaw a remodel in 1931. After World War II and construction of the M1 motorway, further alterations were done. Set in 145 acres of land extending over the Mote Mount Estate, the course includes four holes with lakes in play (2, 9, 10, and 17).

Visitors are welcome at £32 on weekdays, £40 on weekends and bank holidays. Barnet residents and guests of members enjoy various discounts.
