Although this gorgeous parkland-style design dates to 1896, much of the current layout is the result of a gradual redesign by the very notable Canadian architect Stanley Thompson. As with many "old school" parkland designs, the greens here are somewhat smaller, putting a premium on the short game and the ability to run the ball up to the hole.
