Some creative holes nestled next to a small, municipal airport with power lines criss-crossing the landscape leave quite a bit to be desired. Probably get what you pay for as the course conditions were not very nice. Aviara, while more expensive, is a much more pleasant experience.

A little pricey, the course is not top dollar maintained, not worth the standard rate, but worth playing if you can get a deal. Obviously the location is great.

great course, huge site and many different looks and elevation changes. very challenging quite a bit of trouble. very pleased overall, greens were fast, a number of undulated greens.

Visiting the SD area on business and played here. It's a very well manicured place with several tricky shot selection and target golf holes. Miles of cart path for sure, as it stretches all over the mountain side, although most lies are flat. Club selection and distance are very important as many holes are unconventional. Over all a fun course to play.

This is a pretty course with very hospitable staff. It way overpriced for a municipal course (it's not Torrey Pines!). The course itself is gimmicky and would be well served by adding windmills, castles and a clown's mouth here and there. Tiered greens are more like drop-offs than tiers. I recommend chipping on the green from the top tier to the lower since there is no way to stop a putt on the green from top to lower. Just replace your divot!
