The course runs along the coast and over many dunes and hillocks. James Braid designed some of the holes here, the most picturesque being the 10th, which requires a straight drive and a good second shot between the dunes.

Visitors are welcome, but advance booking is highly recommended since weekend play is somewhat restricted. The walking rates are £30 weekdays and £40 weekends (carts are £15/round). Societies are also welcome with advance arrangement.

A very tough front 9 with a slightly more forgiving back 9. Excellent challenging holes with a cruel North East breeze.
