Palmer Hills Golf Course is William J. Spear design that opened in 1974 on land purchased from the Palmer family, hence the course name. Many 100-year-old oak trees frame rolling hills, with several creeks and a pond coming into play on 11 holes. Recent renovations included the regrading and flipping of holes 14 and 15. Four sets of tees stretch the course from 5,343 to 6,583 yards.

The standard walking rates are $20 on Mondays through Thursdays, then $23 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays (carts are $13). Senior, junior, 9-hole, sliding twilight, and shoulder-season rates are offered, as are season passes.
