Have played both courses. Kampen is a classic Pete Dye design. Fabulous to the eye, both demanding and difficult but not to the point of discouragement.
Ackerman is in very good condition. Course is of moderate difficulty except for the greens, many of which are extremely tricky. Many holes have fairly sharp doglegs so the course would be difficult to play for the first time without someone who has played it before.

Overall a good expierience. The south course plays well to a middle handicapper like me. And the North course will provide enough of a challenge to remind you why your an amatuer.
