This private country club is owned by Eastern Kentucky University Foundation, whose primary purpose is to accept gifts on behalf of the University. The Arlington Club serves as a social and athletic center for University staff, faculty, alumni, related donors, and corporate interests. It is managed by KemperSports.

The course is home to the Eastern Kentucky University men's and women's golf teams, along with a variety of collegiate and amateur tournaments.
