Canyon Lakes is a cart mandatory course. The holes are fairly tight with a lot of doglegs. The fairway landing areas are fairly narrow and there is a plenty of trouble lining both sides of many of the fairways. The front 9 definitely has some fun and interesting holes (2,3,4,5,8). The back 9 has steeper elevation changes. The view of the valley from hole 17 is quite nice.
