Started at 45° with a 6 mph breeze. Well, I fell off the high I was on and hit with such a thud that I nearly caused myself a damage. I had flashes of brilliance, but only the briefest of flashes. No matter what I did to try to stop the bleeding was to no avail, so by the end of the round it was a total bleed-out! No excuses needed, I just flat didn't have it today. When you have a 6' putt for eagle and leave it short, you just know it isn't going to be your day. Yes, I had three birdies but that is no consolation. I stunk! That being said, Thursday I am playing again and it WILL be a better day! Golf is a fickle ol' game--one day you're on top of the world and the next you could be scrapping the gutter. I love this game! Now I get a day off to prepare for my next round, lick my wounds and to repair what is broke. I love the challenge!
