Started at 84°, overcast, very humid and a 6 mph breeze. One of the guys that played in my group this morning was the type that did nothing until it was his turn to play. Very irritating, so consequently I felt very rushed all day. I'm not making an excuse, just sayin'. I really didn't hit the ball well at all--low line drive tee shots, thinned irons, etc. I still managed to score relatively well though, and I guess that is the objective--score well when you're playing less that expected. I sure won't be picking that one player again any time soon! The other guys were regulars, so they were OK. I now get a days rest before the next round on Thursday, and with the heat being like it is, I sure can use it. I'm still very optimistic about my game! Lovin' it!!
