Started at 79°, humid and a 3 mph breeze, which freshened to 5 mph. Had a very good start, but from thereon I made a lot of mental errors and my ball striking suffered. I had a couple of "chili-dips" (which is unusual), but I did manage to keep my sense of humor about me. I'm not entirely happy with this result, but I discovered a flaw in my driver swing that will bear fruit once I get a few more reps in with it. I found that I was swinging "around" with the driver instead of swinging "underneath," if that makes any sense. Once I started that my distance immediately increased, as did my control. Funny how many little "nuggets" you can find in a round, isn't it? Anyway, my next scheduled round is Sunday, so I'll enjoy the down-time and hope that I can remember these little nuggets! Happy, happy!
