Started at 40°, clear skies and a slight 2 mph breeze. Today was a day where the "golf gods" did not smile upon me, but then I hadn't played in a week. I think they were trying to tell me something. Anyway, I played like a real "hack" today, for some reason, probably as a reminder not to get too cocky! I'm viewing this round as a "one-off" and making sure it hits the bottom of the circular file. The lessons I learned, and they were many, will stay with me for this season and by the end I shouldn't need to be reminded of them. My putting remains a WIP, but my mental game seems to be pretty solid despite this round. I'm playing again tomorrow, so we'll see just show resilient I am. Wish me luck? :)
