Started at 63°, clear skies and a 10 mph breeze. The course was packed this morning (10am) and I was joined by a real talkative guy that I usually don't play with. He's a nice enough guy, but he just doesn't know when to shut up! I used the crowded conditions to cut most of his stories short, and it was enough to allow me to focus. My driver showed up today but decided that it needed to kiss a few trees along the way, thus the short yardages off the tee. My putting and short game saved the day actually, but then that is their responsibility. My iron play still needs some attention though, but noticed that I was taking the club away from the ball a bit on the outside thus causing a weak little cut. That seemed to fix that, but then I started hitting them heavy and that is never good. Just a little work needed to fix that, I believe. It was a good day though as it provided me an opportunity to work around distractions. Good day.
