Started at 68°, partly cloudy skies and a 3 mph breeze. It was doubtful if we would be able to play today as the course received 2" of rain yesterday, but we managed. The course was very wet, some puddles in the fairways and a lot of plugged lies, hence a few skewed stats. I had 3 lip-outs that stopped 2" passed the hole (#3, #4 and #6). I feel as though I managed my game fairly well, hitting a lot of clutch shots and my lag putting was outstanding. Even though I played with people that I enjoy being with, I was able to maintain my mental game quite well. I'm starting to learn when to shut the social aspect down before I hit my shots, and this is going to pay dividends right away. Personally, I feel that this was an outstanding round because not only did I play well, but I was able to manage my attitude quite well. Happy days here in Tyler! :)
