This is a private country club course. I played for free as a prospective member so I can't rate the value, but the membership rates are very good compared to the other snootier country clubs around here.
The course is pretty easy overall. I'm about 305 yes off the tee on average and had the misfortune to block a couple wide right. There was nothing in the way, though...no trees, no penal rough...and I was able to save par each time. This course definitely is a "member's course" as it caters to the average or less than average golfing member. The patrons from what I can tell are pretty much in their 50s and 60s and likely don't want to play their leisurely golf on a difficult course.
My pace of play rating may be skewed a bit as I played midday on a Wednesday. I got around in 3 hours as I was the only one on the course.
If you want a challenge, go somewhere else. I shot 80 from the tips on this course (lack of course knowledge hurt me on a couple of blind shots), but probably would shoot an average of 76 once I learned where to put the ball each time.
If you want an easy round where you can talk to partners or conduct business (be sure to let the boss or client win), this is the place.
