Played the oaks. It was the middle of a hot day. Price was cheap $25. Course was in decent shape. Had a good time.

A wasted round at Cypress,course is not well maintained or cared for and it shows. The greens were a mess, and made putting a joke. We left after the front nine, after pure dissapointment. They offer a re-play for the other course for $25.00, but I would not waste your time or money.

Don't waste your time playing Cypress - Stonegate. The staff treats this course as an afterthought to the OAKS. I only played once - was told greens were in 'great shape'...NOT. Hopefully they were planning maintenance and the long grass and dirt covered surface was not what they considered 'great'. We had to institute a 2 putt max rule because it was only blind luck if you could get it to roll straight. Staff couldn't care less about this course. If you could ignore horrible layout of course, the actual holes hold promise for an interesting round...too many factors to ignore. Too many quality courses in the area to waste your time with this one.
