Vietnam Golf & Country Club has two 18 hole championship courses carved out of the existing woodland. The West Course (Chen King Shih, 1994) features narrow, tree-lined fairways and fast greens, and is tough enough that the club permits only single-digit handicappers to play from the Gold Tees. The West course hosted the Vietnam Open on the Asian Tour in 1995 and 1997.

The East Course (Lee Trevino, 1997) offers more generous fairways but is protected by 110 bunkers and water hazards.

Visitor rates are $108 on weekdays and $143 on weekends, except for Mondays ($50) and Wednesdays ($65).

I was happy just to be ticking off Vietnam on my list. Perfectly decent course, but not cheap - greens on East course in excellent condition. My caddy was decent enough and the food in the clubhouse delicious.
