Thanks Alex... I do receive an e-mail when you post the score...I assume you and Mike still get mine? I just returned from a 2 day trip to South Carolina to drop some furniture off for our son. Took the clubs and I was able to get out for a quick 18 on a pretty cool course. Wasn't a great round but not too bad for playing a course for the first time. I will be hitting Yankee Trace back here in Ohio tomorrow of the weather holds out.

Best round in years...at least from a ball striking and enjoyment standpoint. Drove the ball really well, irons were consistent and I was hitting greens time and again. 4 screwed up holes (4 bad shots really) cost me probable the best round in years... On my way to Florida to bury my grandfather. I know he had to be with me today as I had one of the most enjoyable days on the golf course in some time...if only he would have pushed a few one putts my way... RIP Gramps.

OK...had to get one more in before leaving for Alaska...started out pretty good... then my back went on on hole 6 or 7... struggled to even keep from walking off the course after that... bummer. Bad round and heading into the 14 day vacation to Alaska with a screwed up back. But, i do think I have somewhat figured things out. Now all I need to do is keep my back from going out. See you guys when I get back. If you hear of a major cruise line disaster it will probably be me (just my luck - Princess Diamond).

I didn't lose my mind but I was losing confidence :). Had a great round today... only lost one damn ball and that was in the first cut of rough. Just couldn't score as I should have. Kept missing greens chipping on and two putting for bogey. Actually had 2 three putts as well...which is something I have not been doing. but I hit the range this week and work on my stance...what a difference. I hope to improve on what i figured out.

finally lol. Glad you made it. I think for the labor day outing we switch things up. Let's discuss traveling on Sunday and Friday...golfing Mon-Thursday. That gives us Sat and the Sat - Sunday with the wives. Most end up taking leave the day after anyway so it is not like we'll be saving a day of leave.

Pipestone was the last course we played while you were here.. tough course. I was on Fire. Even if I missed a fairway I was in the first cut. Putted well, ship well. DAMN :(

I did not... Had one of my best rounds of the year Wed... 39 on front... after 16 all I had to do was par out to shoot a 79.... Tripled the par 3 and doubled 18 for a smooth 84. At Pipestone too!
